She backed away slowly, waving her arms up in defeat.

"Sorry, Hiei. I didn't mean to anger you. I was just telling the truth.." She lowered her ears, and watched him leave.

Fresh air, that is what he needed. Being so busy with everything lately had kept him in for too long. Besides, the wind gave change, which honestly didn't satisfy his curiosity. Red hair flew with the wind, gently as he gazed into the horizion. Was this truly what he had desired lately?

Hiei made his way into the city where his old friends used to live. He really didn't know if it was worth it to see his old friends and possibly open old wounds. He frowned.

"Heh, they probably have better things to worry about now then this stupid friendship."

He said to himself, but deep down he knew that wasn't true. He longed to see his old friends and tell stories of his new adventures. He even kinda missed being picked on and coming back with snappy comments.
He sighed and continued on his way.

Looking back at his apartment, the reclaimed human smiled. "I'll be back soon," he muttered softly. Walking to the train station, hands in his pants and all, he figured taking a very small trip would be nice. Sadly, this little picnic couldn't be so long.

Suddenly, he stopped sensing something familiar around. He glanced around almost eagerly.

Hearing the all so familiar voice, the red head chuckled. "You have not changed a bit-Hiei." Walks into view and smiles greatly to the surprize. "Not one bit."
